Night Ranger.
"A blast from the past?"
Not exactly.
"Oh right! The band who sang that "motorin'"
tune.....uh....Sister Christian?"
Yes.....but they did make plenty of other great songs, too.
"Hey, whatever happened to them?"
Glad you asked........
Night Ranger has existed in one form or
another since the early '80's.
They were a big influence during that decade with hits like,
"Don't Tell Me You Love Me",
"When You Close Your Eyes",
"Sentimental Street,
"You Can Still Rock in America" and....
'that motorin' tune' - "Sister Christian".
The members of Night Ranger went their separate ways around 1989.
Some pursued solo projects. Others created new bands like
Alliance, Mother's Army and Damn Yankees.
Brad and Kelly teamed up with Gary Moon for a while,
keeping the Night Ranger name alive.
The original members reunited in 1996 and released the CD "Neverland" in 1997.
"Seven", was released in July of '98.
The band has been out on the road pretty consistently ever since, as well
as working on various individual side projects.
